The British Jumping Derby Meeting, West Sussex, 22-26 June 2011
The 2011 Carpetright Derby will see riders take on the infamous Derby Bank - the biggest of its kind, in what has become one of the most famous equestrian events in the world.
Founded in 1960 by the late Douglas Bunn, it is the only show jumping competition that sees riders take on the front descent of the Derby Bank – where riders become heroes and their horses shine as the stars of the show.
Plus, the show offers a whole host of senior national show jumping classes - with something for almost every calibre of affiliated rider.
There’s something for everyone, with a number of Horse of the Year Show showing qualifiers, a polo exhibition match, carriage driving and of course the famous Mini Challenge!
And, with over 250 exhibitors, the shopping village is a must for leading equestrian brands including Joules, The Yorkshire Clothing Co (Rydale) and Tottie.
